Jordi Rodríguez
Managing director
Degree in Political Sciences and Administration from Pompeu Fabra University, General Marketing Management from ESADE, Vicens Vives Program in Leadership and Civic Engagement from ESADE, and PDG from IESE Business School. He leads the overall strategy of the foundation, guiding and supporting the projects carried out, with a priority focus on practical application and technology transfer. His work includes defining strategic objectives, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and monitoring the progress of projects, ensuring that they are aligned with the goals of innovation and competitiveness. It also facilitates collaboration between the public, private and academic sectors, promoting the effective transfer of knowledge and technology to the market.

Paula Sanchez
Project Manager
Graduated in Biotechnology by the University of Vic (UVIC-UCC), a Master in Bioengineering by the Chemical Institute of Sarriá (IQS)-Ramon Llull University and a Master in Project Management by La Salle-Ramon Llull University. She has experience in the management of innovation and digital transformation projects in the healthcare field, both in the hospital and entrepreneurial sectors, as well as in the planning and launching of initiatives and training to promote innovative and intrapreneurship culture.

José Carlos Caba
Project Manager
Degree in Biology (2007), MSc in Pharmacology with a PhD in neurodegenerative diseases and an Executive Master in Innovation (2012). He has a scientific background in biosimilars production in biotechnology companies. For 8 years, he was Business Development Manager at Leitat leading the BDMs-healthcare team at national level where he specialized in competitive public fundraising. During 2024-2025 he joined Fundació Leitat coordinating the incubation of 20 demonstrative projects of Integrated Care through an initiative aligned with the Strategic Plan of Social Services and with the challenges of the Health Plan 2021-2025 of GenCat.

Marta Miralles
Project Manager
Degree in Biology (2007), MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2008) and PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (2014). He started his career in biomedical research, focusing on gene therapy applied to neurological autoimmune diseases. His work on the design of a new technique for the production of mosaic adenoviral vectors resulted in several scientific publications and a patent. After his PhD, he oriented his career towards the biotechnology sector, participating in the development of new probiotic products, managing R&D projects and coordinating clinical trials. Subsequently, she joined VHIR as a postdoctoral researcher and, later, as Innovation Project Manager in its innovation department. Since 2023, she has been part of Fundació Leitat, where she has managed the incubation of 11 pilot projects within the framework of the Hub for Social and Health Innovation (HiSS), promoted by the Agència d'Atenció Integrada Social i Sanitària de Catalunya (AGAISS-Cat).

Olga Garcia
Project Manager
Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and PhD from the UPC in the specialty of Paper and Graphic Engineering. She has extensive experience in the field of R&D&I project management in different economic sectors, specializing in the most recent stage of her career in public sector projects of innovation in health and entrepreneurship. She currently focuses her work on management, monitoring and technical-economic justification of the foundation's projects.
